Merrick Horticulture is all about maximising the potential of any garden area or shared space, whilst creating a haven for wildlife and managing resources. Creating soil is hugely important and the first thing to introduce is a composting area in a discreet but accessible part of the garden and make sure waste materials from the garden and kitchen are prepared to replenish the soil.
